We are a public charity 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. In partnership and joined efforts with local and international Christian and non-profit organizations, churches, businesses, governments, and with the support of individuals who have the heart for humanitarian missions, we commit ourselves to go into the world and take help to the poor and oppressed, give hope to the hopeless through acts of love and compassion, transform lives with the good news of the Word of God, and bear witness of Jesus Christ’s love and power through service, teaching, and example. We serve all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.
Food insecurity is very high among the indigenous communities. We provide nonperishable food items to school children & families in an effort to end malnutrition and lower mortality rates.
Can’t live without water. We provide potable drinking water, plastic storage tanks, and filtration systems to impoverished communities who don’t have access to clean water.
We provide everything baby needs, from blankets and diapers, to formula and medical care and vitamins for mom, to ensure baby grows and develops healthy and strong.
No bare feet! During every mission trip we distribute hundreds of flipflops and shoes to children and adults who desperately need them. This prevents cuts and infections.
Closet cleanup? Share the clothes you don’t need or want anymore with families and children that need. Use ’em and leave ’em with us. We’ll take ’em to the poor.
A good learning experience requires tools in hand. We distribute school supplies and backpacks to 330 Wayuu kids at the ethnic schools we support.
Our ethnic school, Koleejia Miichi Ahava (Ahava House School), at Rancheria Ipamana welcomes instructors and educators who'd like to do take part of any of our available Boost Workshops.
We welcome medical personnel that would love to make a difference in our Wayuu children's lives. We'll work with you to set up a medical mission with our local staff in La Guajira.
Moving from classes under a tree to a furnished school building is what excites us the most about building! We build and repair structures that serve as school, shelters and churches.
The Christmas season comes with the joy of giving! We take hundreds of toys and goodies to children whose families can’t afford buying gifts for Christmas. No child left without!
Shop for exclusive authentic handmade Wayuu mochilas and products directly from the families we serve. As you shop, you support the Wayuu artisan moms and their communities.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
This past February 22, 2024 our Wayuu Kids of Koolejia Michi AHAVA started another school year with lots of energy and healthy meals! Our school is known in the territory as the place where they eat good. 🙂 Thank you for your kind support as we feed 95 students (and their siblings) daily and provide groceries for their families as well. Let's keep up the good work for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ!
It was hard to say goodbye to our class of 2023 -we'll miss them, but we're excited to welcome our 15 new students! April 2024 starts with our School Uniform Sponsorship Campaign. Please join us by helping sponsor one of 95 students that desperately need new uniforms. Your love and kindness makes a great positive impact in these children's lives, education and future. Thank you!
Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies". ~ Psalms 41:1-3
