BUILD & FIX

Through the Ahava Build & Fix program, we build, repair, and maintain buildings that serve as shelter and places of worship to poor communities in Colombia. We support building and renovation projects that improve the life of poor families and communities. We focus in renovating existing buildings that are unsafe, and remodeling interior spaces that need that extra help. The tasks involved will vary according to location, project, community needs, and skill set. Safety is always a concern, and volunteers will never be asked to perform tasks that could be dangerous to them.

Our immediate projects include construction of a Wayuu school, in a Rancheria located in Rioacha, and construction of a Food Pantry in La Guajira, Colombia.

WHAT WE COLLECT

We gratefully accept monetary contributions destined to fund building, repair and renovation projects in this program.
